Watched the Marlins-Mets game today on TV. The Marlins simply aren't hitting but they should have won today. Every closer blows games from time to time. Even the great Mariano. But Miami has to be concerned about the back end of their pen. Heath Bell, who was money as the Padres closer, blew his 3rd save today. He couldn't hold a 2-1 lead in the 9th inning. He walked 4 guys and gave up a hit. He couldn't get his curveball over and looked awful. Bell threw 46 pitches and fell to 0-3 with a 9.53 ERA as the Mets rallied to win 3-2. If I didn't know any better, I would guess he has some physical issue. He's too good to look that crappy. I'd be worried if I were a Marlins fan.
