Wright Wrong

You can officially label Mets third baseman David Wright "injury prone." Players hate to get that label but that's what he is. Injury prone.
He hasn't played this spring since hurting his ribs swinging a bat. Doctors have diagnosed it as a muscle tear near the left side of his abdomen.
Wright says it sounds worse than it is and says he'll be ready Opening Day which is April 5th for the Mets. Wright says his side feels like an uncomfortable cramp.
The same injury cost Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman 60 games a year ago.
Well, Wright may be ready for the opener if the injury heals...and he doesn't suffer another injury in the meantime.
