On our radio show last night, I mentioned to Andy Cornell and Justin Adams that Chuck Klein of the Phillies and Lou Gehrig of the Yankees were two of the three players in Major League history to have two seasons of 100 or more extra-base hits.
Babe Ruth did it once. Barry Bonds once. Rogers Hornsby once.
I asked the Coach and Justin, who is the third player that has collect two seasons of 100+ extra base hits.
They were clueless.
The answer?
Todd Helton.
How's that for a trivia question?
