Bad Lids

A lot of people seem to like the Orioles switch in caps, going back to the cartoonish bird on the front white panel.
I think it looks...well, cartoonish.
The Orioles ornithologically correct bird looked so much better and classy.
Of course, cartoonish does fit the Orioles who haven't been much of a factor since the mid 90's. They are working on 14 straight losing seasons. I'd be shocked, shocked, if they don't make it 15.
By the way, when you look at losing professional sports franchises, one constant seems to be prevalent. Bad ownership. Players, managers, coaches, general managers seem to come and go. But bad owners, and in Baltimore it's Peter Angelos, seem to just sit back and blame everybody else.
How's this rule? Once a team has 10 consecutive losing seasons, they must sell their franchise. Ten years is plenty to turn a franchise around and it forces owners to actually try to win.
