Got to see Albert Pujols today, my first in-person look at him in an Angels uniform.
I thought he would look strange and out of place like so many great players when they switch teams. Case in point, Peyton Manning. How bizarre will it be to see him donning a Broncos uniform after so many years in Colts duds?
But since the Angels predominant color is red and the Cardinals wear red, he didn't look too out of place. A little bit, sure. But it wasn't the "Oh my God, Pujols looks out of place" feeling I thought his new team and uniform would bring.
Looking at the Angels lineup...two words come to mind. Freaking scary. The AL West race will be fun to watch.
