Tulo's Hot

In addition to watching the Twins-Yanks, I'm watching the Rockies-Bucs game, the home Opener in Pittsburgh.
A couple of thoughts.
First, Troy Tulowitzki is the best shortstop in baseball. Better than Jimmy Rollins, better than Hanley Ramirez, better than Derek Jeter, better than them all. Tulo just homered for for his third home run in as many games. He's picking up where he left off last September when he was Alesandra Ambrosio hot.
As for Pittsburgh, they are off to a nice 4-2 start. Don't worry, they'll rack up their record 19th consecutive season. They are just delaying the inevitable until early August. Anyway, its a beautiful, sunny day in Pittsburgh. There is a full house at amazing PNC Park. With the Pirates copious history, if this team ever got good, the fans would flock to the yard every day, not just Opening Day. Such a shame that the Pittsburgh Pirates have become a laughing stock. I remember when they begged for a new stadium, claiming they needed it to compete. PNC Park is, hard to believe, now in its 11th season and the stadium hasn't even sniffed a winning season. Very sad. But as someone who went to college in Pittsburgh and who loves the city, I hope the Bucs turn it around soon. But I'm not overly optimistic about that.
Pittsburgh...great city, great teams in the Steelers and Penguins and then you have the sad sack Pirates.
