Braves pitcher Derek Lowe is 37. The point being is that he's been around. He's no stupid kid. But he is a stupid grown man who should know better than to get popped for DUI as he did last evening in Georgia.
To show he's even dumber than a dustpan, he was allegedly racing another vehicle while driving his Porsche.
That's how people die. Ask David Wesley, the former NBA player who was racing teammate Bobby Phills 10 or so years ago. Phills died in a wreck.
Or how about Pelle Lindbergh, the former Flyers goaltender who was extremely drunk when he crashed his speeding Porsche into the brick wall of a school and killed himself.
Driving fast, drunk driving and stupidy can certainly lead to a driver dying in a crash. Or worse, killing someone else. Derek Lowe is an ass clown.
