The Rockies rallied to beat the Pirates today, 6-5. Colorado off to a nice 6-2 start, which could easily be 8-0 since the two games they lost, Opening Day to the Diamondbacks and the other night in 14-innings to the Bucs were games they could have and should have won.
I'm sure if you asked Jim Tracy, or any manager, if they would take a 6-2 start, they would take it in a heartbeat.
Anyway, I watched the end of the Mets game today. Washington rallied to tie it at 3 and then won it 7-3 in 11-innings.
The Rockies visit the Mets tomorrow, the start of a 4-game series. Colorado has never played very well in New York but this is a lousy Mets team. The Mets are 4-5 and when Colorado leaves the big town late Thursday afternoon I hope the Mets are 4-9 and the Rocks are 10-2.
