Get Lost Manny

So Manny Ramirez got popped again for using illegal, performance enhancing drugs. I actually am shocked. While I've never thought Ramirez possessed a great deal of intelligence, I thought he would at least be smart enough not to get caught again. Put him in the Rafael Palmiero category of stupid.
Facing a 100-game suspension, ManRam decided to retire.
Ramirez was just 1-17 this season, that hit a single. It looks like Manny was either falling victim to age or he couldn't hit without his drugs.
So despite a career .312 average with 555 home runs and 1,831 RBI's it looks like he'll join the other steroid users in not making the Hall of Fame.
Personally, I thought he was one of the greatest right-handed hitters I've ever seen. Clutch too. Crappy defensive player. But the thing that bothered me most about Ramirez was his lack of hustle, his "I don't give a crap" attitude and his dreadlocks. He looked disgraceful in a baseball uniform.
Now that Ramirez is gone, good riddance. I hope he disappears for good...although I wouldn't be surprised if he ends his retirement at some point and tries to make a comeback. I mean, what else is he going to do?
