Bad Feeling

The Rockies just lost in 14-innings, 4-3 to the Pirates. Great game but a frustrating one for the Rockies. After jumping out to a 3-0 first inning lead on a Giambi homer, they didn't score again. But they had chances. Oh did they have their chances. But the Bucs bullpen somehow got the job done. Clutch hitting was not in Colorado's vocabulary tonight. They were 0-13 with men in scoring position. This is a game they should have won. Good bye 4-game winning streak.
Once Franklin Morales came in to pitch for the Rockies in the bottom of the 14th, I started getting ready for bed. Every time I see him come into a game I get a bad feeling. Usually its warrented. Of course Morales got the first two guys out. Then he walked a guy, this time Josh Rodriguez. Can Morales ever get through an inning without walking a guy? Then he gave up a wall ball to Jose Tabata to score the winning run.
I wanted to see the game go 15-innings but when Morales came into the game I anticipated finally getting to bed in a matter of moments. Good night.
